When deciding when to send out your emails for maximum return, it’s important to understand that there’s no one-size-fits-all answer for when it’s best to send emails, as each business has to look into their specific customer preferences, industry patterns, and the timing of your activations or offerings. However, there are a few factors that can help steer businesses in the right direction when it comes to choosing when to hit the send button.

One of the most common factors that companies also forget to consider is the time zone(s) of their database. Always consider and look into your database to understand if most of your customers are in the same time zone as you or if they live somewhere else. Are the majority of your customers from one time zone, or are they spread out across several? When deciding when to schedule your next campaign, ensure that you take timing into account before sending. You want as many people to see your emails as possible, and that means sending them at a time when people are checking their emails and awake.

Never make the mistake of prioritizing one time zone over another. By taking the time to segment your lists by location, you will be able to ensure that everyone is receiving content at optimal times and decrease your chances of getting lost in the inbox.
